Fulham v Wigan Weds 29 Oct

Finally, there is another Junior Club Day (JCD) fixture! It is an evening kick-off, but also half term so hopefully enough of you will relax the normal bedtime rules and stay out late…also, Fulham have not currently allocated any more JCDs. It is against Wigan Athletic (Emile Heskey, Mario Melchiot and the Egyptian gladiator, Amr Zaki).

Date: Weds 29th October
Kick off: 7.45pm
Pricing: £5 kids / £15 adults
Travel: Coach tbc depending on numbers - extra £5 a head
Deadline: Weds 8th October

For those of you that haven’t been to Craven Cottage before, it is a very safe and enjoyable way to watch football at one of the best grounds in the league. Please let Tom Gueterbock (tom at 3rdsense dot com) know how many tickets (adults & kids) you require.

———————————————

There is a Junior Club day fixture on Saturday December 22nd against Wigan. These are great value and a safe and enjoyable way to watch football at one of the best grounds in the league. Ticket prices are still tbc but are usually £5 for kids and £15 or £20 for adults. The better seats do go early, even to see Wigan, so please let Tom know how many tickets you would like to reserve. The club (Broomwood not Fulham) provides free transport by coach to and from the game. Kick off is at 3pm.

Contact Tom (tom at 3rdsense dot com) with any questions.

Fulham v Man City - final details

All those that requested tickets have been sent confirmation of their allocation. Please check these and email Tom if there are any discrepancies.

Those travelling by coach will need to meet at 3.45 on Sat 22nd at the junction of Bolingbroke and Thurleigh Rd. Tickets will be handed out as you get on the coach.  Kick-off is at 5.15.  As usual, the seats are allocated in blocks of adults and children so the tickets I give you will just be for entry to the ground and you will be able to sit anywhere within the club’s allocation of seats - this ensures you can sit close to loved ones and or children, should you wish.

Fulham have a slightly irritating policy of searching bags on entry and insisting that lids are removed from bottles. So be prepared or remove lids outside and stick in a pocket.

The coach will return at around 8pm to the pick-up point.

Fulham v Man City Sat 22nd Sept

The next Junior Club Day is on 22nd September and is against the early Premiership leaders, Sven’s Man City. It’s a 5.15pm kick-off this time which means the coach will return to its normal drop-off point on Bolingbroke Grove at about 8pm. If you are interested, please send confirmation and payment to Tom (tom at 3rdsense dot com) by Tuesday 11th Sept. The club will provide free transport to and from the game. Children must travel with an adult at all times - this is not a supervised trip!

Prices are £5 for kids (under 17) and £15 for Adults.

Fulham v Blackburn trip - final details

I have the tickets in hand now…so no last minute ’sold out’ announcements this time. The plan is for 2 coaches to take us to the ground in plenty of time to savour the pre-match ents which include betting on the number of bodyguards Al-Fayed uses as he walks across the pitch and pre-ordering as many Krispy Kremes as possible.

So a prompt getaway is essential.

Coaches will depart at 1.45 (this Saturday 21st) from the junction of Thurleigh Rd and Bolingbroke Grove. Tickets will be given out on the coach.

The seating is complicated - so if you want to sit with your kids please read on. If you don’t then no matter. Although we have been given 69 tickets in one block, because there are different prices for kids and adults they tend to allocate all the adult seats together and then all the child seats together so if you sit according to the tickets you get, your kids will possibly be a few rows in front. I will detail our block of seat numbers on the ticket envelopes.  Please sit ANYWHERE WITHIN THIS BLOCK OF SEATS, regardless of what’s on your tickets.

After the game the coach will wait for us on Stevenage Road and then depart around 5pm. We should be back where we started by 5.30.

See you all at 1.45.

Tom

Fulham v Blackburn trip

Fulham FCWe are now taking bookings for the trip to see Fulham play Blackburn on Sat 21st April. If the response to the last game is anything to go by, demand will be high and we’ll probably be able to fill 2 coaches.

Prices: Tickets are priced at £20 for adults and £5 for kids (prices include coach transport to and from the ground). Kick off is at 3pm.

To book: If you would like to book tickets please comfirm how many of each type you would like as soon as possible - at the very latest by midday on Friday 23rd next week. Please email your requirements to tom@3rdsense.com.

To pay: Payment preferably by cheque (please put number of adult and child tickets on the back) and can be given to Tom on Saturday. Please make cheques payable to Broomwood FC. If you can’t make Saturday please send cheques to Tom at 28 Henderson Road, SW18 3RR.

Still doubtful? Can’t think of a reason to see Blackburn play? Really? Well, they are blessed with some fine individual talents - David Bentley, Benni McCarthy and Matt Derbyshire - and by April 21st will probably be focussing on the league, following a scrappy FA Cup exit to Chelski the week before. Fulham, of course, are always great value when the tickets are a fiver. See here for some Blackburn magic.
