Saturday 8th – football cancelled

Unfortunately the Broomwood FC pitches are waterlogged and Wandsworth Council have sent out an order asking us not to play this weekend.

We will resume play on December 15th unless a similar order comes out.

vs Dulwich Wanderers - 30 goals in an hour!

On 10th March Broomwood FC continued their ascent into the local football fame books with an impressive set of wins across the board against Dulwich Park Wanderers. Two U9 and one U11 squads dominated the morning’s proceedings.As captain of one of the year 4 teams Charlie White commented….”we were all over them” with William Hawkes equally emphatic over how his team performed…”magic! I just can’t believe it!”

Full credit to the Dulwich team for putting up with the onslaught and never dropping their heads… “they were a tough team” suggested Sam Gueterbock… “but they were not a match for us!”

Head coach Phillip Saunders agreed and gave credit to the teams “everyone showed true grit and determination and I look forward to the next contest in a few weeks time! Well done teams”
