We haven’t received any instruction from the Council to cancel football tomorrow because of waterlogging, so please assume that it is on. I’ll update this at 5pm tonight.

Football is off again due to waterlogging.

All Broomwood football has been cancelled today due to the heavy rain. Tooting and Wandsworth Commons are waterlogged.

The wet condition of the pitches and the propagation of snowmen and giant snowballs across the common has prompted Fountains to cancel football this weekend. Hopefully, we’ll be back up and running next weekend.

Football cancelled

The council have had to cancel all football on the common this weekend (Sat 12th Jan) because of waterlogging. Please pass the word around to anyone who might not get the message in time. And then remember to have a lie in.

Saturday 8th – football cancelled

Unfortunately the Broomwood FC pitches are waterlogged and Wandsworth Council have sent out an order asking us not to play this weekend.

We will resume play on December 15th unless a similar order comes out.
